Auditions

Join us! The requirements for membership are simple: a love of singing and the ability to pass a brief audition. One does not have to read music or have had any formal training in voice.

Auditions are held twice a year at the beginning of September and January. Auditions for our Fall 2026 session will be held on Tuesdays, September 8th, 15th, and 22nd (only one audition required). Join us for a regular rehearsal on one o these dates and stay for auditions immediately following rehearsal (regular rehearsal runs 7:30 - 9:30 pm). 

Auditions are private and will consist of singing a few warm-up exercises and a well-known song like Silent Night or Happy Birthday. A choir representative will contact you soon afterward to let you know the result.

Regular rehearsals are Tuesdays from 7:30 - 9:30 pm in the MAC (lower level) of the Orchard United Methodist Church until our concerts in December (dates to be confirmed soon). Please note that a remote rehearsal option will be available if you are unable to attend in-person rehearsals at any time during the session.

The Farmington Chorus is an adult chorus and members are age 18 and above.
