Actionable Songs - Spring 2018

Our spring concert entitled Actionable Songs took place at the First Presbyterian Church in Farmington on Friday, May 11 at 8:00pm and Saturday, May 12th at 4:00pm. It was a great venue, and the acoustics in the church were amazing.

First up, the chorus sang That's When the Music Takes Me, and I Hide Myself based on a poem by Emily Dickenson.

Chorus accompanist Jennifer's fingers fly on the chorus piece, Swinging on a Star.

Mary Beth performed an original number entitled Fly Away.

The women of the chorus sang Can't Help Lovin' That Man with soloist Juliana.

The men of the chorus sang a piece from the musical Newsies: Seize the Day.

Soloist India performed I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables.

The choir, along with soloists, Sandra and Judah, sang You Will Be Found to close out the first half of the show.

The chorus opened the second half with the rousing song: Jump Shout Boogie

Soloist Judah, along with the choir, sings And So It Goes.

Perfect Blend enchants the crowd with Fly Me to the Moon and I Wish You Love.

Soloist Shannon sings Make You Feel My Love.

Soloist Ryan and the chorus warn concert goers: You Better Min' How You Talk

Soloist LaKesha performs the classic song: God Bless the Child.

After the chorus piece, When the Saints Go Marching In, chorus director Steve addresses the audience.

Soloist Audrey, along with the chorus, wishes the audience a good day in May Each Day.
